BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Ingleside man was arrested on June 15th, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for not residing at a specific address, communicating with his ex-girlfriend and being within 100 meters of her. He was also charged with breach of probation for not residing at a specified address and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 9th, 2016 the man approached and spoke to his ex-girlfriend while at a local store and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation it was learned the man moved from his known address despite his conditions. On June 15th, 2016 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – Yves Menard, 44 of Cornwall was arrested on June 15th, 2016 and charged with assault. It is alleged on June 7th, 2016 the man pushed a 28-year-old woman known to him during a disagreement and police were contacted to investigate. On June 15th, 2016 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 14th, 2016.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on June 15th, 2016 and charged with breach of undertaking for being out past curfew and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 15th, 2016 the youth was found to be breaching his conditions when he was stopped by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – Amanda Tryon, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on June 14th, 2016 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an argument on June 9th, 2016 the woman punched a 26-year-old man in the face and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the woman was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 28th, 2016.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Samantha McCormick, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on June 14th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman breached her probation order and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On June 14th, 2016 the woman was located by police, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old Lunenburg woman was arrested on June 14th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on May 28th, 2016 the woman punched her ex-boyfriend in the face and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation a warrant was obtained for the arrest of the woman as her whereabouts were unknown. On June 14th, 2016 the woman was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant during a traffic stop and released to appear in court on July 5th, 2016. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
