Bikers Busted in Cornwall Ontario POLICE BLOTTER June 22, 2016

MISCHIEF, BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Alexandria man was arrested on June 20th, 2016 and charged with mischief and breach of undertaking for failing to notify a change in address. It is alleged during an argument with his 36-year-old girlfriend on June 20th, 2016 the man damaged a door and a bowl. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation it was also learned the man failed to notify a change of address as per his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

SEXUAL ASSAULT

 

Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 20th, 2016 and charged with three counts of sexual assault. It is alleged between 2012 and 2014 the man sexually assaulted his girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. On June 20th, 2016 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING

 

Cornwall, ON – Jacques Allaire, 42 of Cornwall was arrested on June 17th, 2016 and charged with possession of marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking marijuana. It is alleged the man was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana during a traffic stop on June 17th, 2016. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 19th, 2016.

 

THEFT UNDER, BREACH

 

Cornwall, ON – Christopher Allikas, 38 of Cornwall was arrested on June 17th, 2016 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation and undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on June 16th, 2016 the man entered a Ninth Street store and removed merchandise making no attempt to pay for the item as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 17th, 2016 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service attended the Cornwall Courthouse as the man was being held on an unrelated matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

MISCHIEF

 

Cornwall, ON – Mitchell Berube, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on June 17th, 2016 and charged with mischief. It is alleged during a disagreement at a local pharmacy on June 17th, 2016 the man pushed over some displays damaging some glasses. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.

 

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING, PROCEEDS OF CRIME, POSSESSION OF A PROHIBITED WEAPON, CARELESS STORAGE OF AMMUNITION

 

Cornwall, ON -, The Cornwall Community Police Service Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police executed two drug warrants at two Cornwall locations on the 17th of June 2016. As a result of the warrants a quantity of cocaine, hashish and Canadian currency was located as well as brass knuckles. Jeff Berube, 52 and Rodney Helmer, 42 both from Cornwall and known members of the “13 Crew,” Motorcycle Club a Hells Angels Motorcycle Club support group were arrested and charged accordingly. They were both held for Bail hearing.
