Fentanyl Bust in Perth Ontario #OPP July 7, 2016

TRAFFIC STOP RESULTS IN DRUG SEIZURE

(Drummond North Elmsley Township, Ontario) – On Thursday June 30th, 2016 members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Drug Enforcement Unit, OPP Regional Support Team and officers from the Lanark County OPP Detachment conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle in Drummond North Elmsley Twp, as the male occupant was breaching, previously imposed, court release conditions.

During the investigation police located and seized:  Eight (8) vials of suspected powdered Fentanyl – each containing a ½ gram

Total weight: Four (4) grams and estimated street value of $800.00.

Chase NAGLE (31) of Perth (ON) is charged with:

  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Recognizance of Bail x 3
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance-Fentanyl

He was held in custody for a Bail Hearing and will next appear on July 18, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth, ON

Angel MCNEELY (27) of Perth (ON) is charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance-Fentanyl
  • Drive While Under Suspension – Highway Traffic Act
