ASSAULT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on September 23rd, 2016 and charged with assault and breach of two probation orders for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on June 26th, 2016 the man assaulted his 39-year-old girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. On September 23rd, 2016 the man was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on September 23rd, 2016 and charged with breach of recognizance for communicating with a person she has conditions not to communicate with. It is alleged on September 23rd, 2016 police learned the woman breached her conditions by communicating with her ex-boyfriend and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on September 25th, 2016 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an argument on September 25th, 2016 the woman slapped and punched her boyfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 4th, 2016. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
MISCHIEF, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Todd St.Louis, 36 of Cornwall was arrested on September 25th, 2016 and charged with mischief and breach of recognizance for being outside his residence and for being where alcohol is being sold. It is alleged on September 25th, 2016 the man damaged a vehicle’s window at a local bar and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Christopher Dennison, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on September 26th, 2016 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on September 26th, 2016 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of York Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 6th, 2016.
Jamie this morning there was a shooting at Heron Gate Apts. and townhouses and a sniffer dog was used to trace the gun and bullets. I was so tired that I never heard the shots.
