Suspect sought in gas station robbery

 

Ottawa ONTARIO  — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating the recent robbery of a gas station and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible.

On November 2, 2016, at approximately 1:45 am, a lone male suspect entered a gas station situated along the 200 block of Rideau Street. The suspect made a demand for cash and cigarettes, and indicated he had a gun. No weapon was seen. The suspect fled with an undisclosed quantity of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as being a white male, 30-35 years old, 5’5″(165 cm), slim build, moustache, English speaking. At the time he wore black shoes, blue jeans, blue jacket over a light grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood lined in red (images attached.)
