CARE AND CONTROLL
Cornwall, ON – Debra-Lynn Vaillant-Lafrance, 46 of Cornwall was arrested on November 25th, 2016 and charged with care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. It is alleged in the early morning hours of November 25th, 2016 the woman was found to be in care and control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol at the East Court Mall parking lot. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 6th, 2016.
THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Jonathan Deruchie, 42 of Cornwall was arrested on November 26th, 2016 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on November 26th, 2016 the man attended a store at the Cornwall Square, removed two winter coats making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer after and police were contacted. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 29th, 2016.
IMPAIRED, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Mathieu Veillette, 18 of Williamstown was arrested on November 27th, 2016 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on November 27th, 2016 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Guy Street and First Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 6th, 2016.
OBSTRUCT POLICE
Cornwall, ON – Corey Dennision, 26 of Cornwall was arrested on November 27th, 2016 and charged with obstruct police. It is alleged while police were investigating an unrelated matter on November 27th, 2016 the man repeatedly interrupted the police investigation. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 22nd, 2016.
OBSTRUCT, BREACH, THREATS, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON –Adam Lacoste-Marshall, 24 of Cornwall was arrested on November 26th, 2016 and charged with the following:
- Personation
- Obstruct peace officer
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession of Benzodiazepines
- Drive disqualified
- Breach of two probation orders (failing to keep the peace)
- Breach of two recognizance (curfew, possession of drugs, failing to keep the peace)
- Two counts of mischief
- Threats
- Assault police
It is alleged on November 26th, 2016 the man was stopped at the Port of Entry where he identified himself as someone else. He was taken into custody and found to be in possession of marijuana and Benzodiazepines. Police were contacted and took custody of Lacoste-Marshall. He then threatened police and another man, spat on an officer, kicked a cruiser and pushed the cruiser door against another cruiser causing damage to both vehicles. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
Cornwall, ON – Jordyn Chandonnet, 26 of Cornwall was arrested on November 27th, 2016 and charged with possession of stolen property. It is alleged on November 27th, 2016 the man was found to be in possession of a stolen license plate during a traffic stop. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 29th, 2016.
