Homicide investigation on Bayswater Avenue
(Ottawa) –The Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Unit is investigating a homicide at 1-100 block of Bayswater Avenue.
At 10:40pm on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016, Ottawa Police received numerous 911 calls regarding gun shots in the Bayswater Avenue area. Officers located a male on scene with life threatening injuries resulting from a gun shot. He was transported to hospital. Leslie MWAKIO, 17 of Ottawa, succumbed to his injuries at hospital.
Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.
