ASSAULT, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 23rd, 2016 and charged with assault, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and breach of a youth probation order for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during arguments on December 23rd, 2016 the man kicked his 18-year-old girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody and found to be in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
IMPAIRED, OVER80
Cornwall, ON – Michael Andre, 52 of Cornwall was arrested on December 23rd, 2016 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on December 23rd, 2016 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Ninth Street and Cumberland Street when he collided with another vehicle. The man then left the area and police were contacted. He was taken into custody a short distance away, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 3rd, 2017.

Cornwall, ON – A 37-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 24th, 2016 and charged with mischief. It is alleged on December 24th, 2016 the man damaged a door at his ex-girlfriend’s residence and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 19th, 2017. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Davidson Currier, 20 of Cornwall was arrested on December 25th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant and charged with carrying concealed weapons. It is alleged while investigating an unrelated matter on December 25th, 2016 police took the man into custody on the strength of a warrant for a fraud that occurred in September, 2015. During this time the man was found to be in possession of a metal pipe and a knife. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 19th, 2017.

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on December 26th, 2016 and charged with mischief and breach of recognizance for communicating with his ex-girlfriend and for being within 100 meters of her residence. It is alleged on December 26th, 2016 the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence and damaged a door. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

It is alleged during an argument on December 26th, 2016 the man damaged several items within his girlfriend’s apartment and police were contacted to investigate.
