Tractor Trailer Driver DAVID REESOR Charged After Diesel Hits Wetlands JAN 13, 2017

TRACTOR TRAILER COLLISION: ROAD HAZARD (UPDATE 2)
          DRIVER CHARGED.
(Tay Valley Township, ON) – Officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged the driver of a tractor trailer transport after a collision on Highway 7 near the intersection with Bollingbrooke Road in Tay Valley Township.

OPP were called to the scene at about 04:30am on Thursday 12th January 2017, where a tractor trailer left the highway and entered the south ditch causing extensive damage to the cab and trailer. The cargo of water bottles was thrown from the ruptured trailer.

David REESOR (54 years) of Owen Sound is charged:

One (1) Count      Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

One (1) Count      Driving Motor Vehicle while Ability Impaired.

One (1) Count      Driving Motor Vehicle with 80 milligrams of Alcohol per 100 millilitres
of Blood.

He was released on Promise to Appear at the provincial court in Perth.

The Ministry of Environment dealt with a spill of diesel fuel that entered wet lands.

Removal of the transport started on Friday 13th January 2017.
