WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Kevin Ouellet, 31 of St-Jerome was arrested on January 20th, 2017 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged during the month of November, 2016 the man attempted to take a transport from a local business and damaged the ignition. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On January 20th, 2017 members of the Cornwall Community Police Service attended St-Jerome Courthouse as the man was in custody on unrelated charges. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, transported to Cornwall and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 37-year-old Long Sault man was arrested on January 20th, 2017 and charged with assault and breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on January 18th, 2017 the man punched his common-law wife and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation it was also alleged the man’s common-law wife bit him and threatened him with a knife. Both were taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Their names were not released as it would identify them as victims.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 20th, 2017 and charged with breach of undertaking and probation for communicating with someone he has conditions not to communicate with and for going to her residence. It is alleged on January 20th, 2017 the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.
ASSAULT, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 42-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 21st, 2017 and charged with assault and mischief. It is alleged during an argument on January 21st, 2017 the man pushed his wife and damaged some property in the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 24th, 2017. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 22nd, 2017 and charged with assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on January 22nd, 2017 the man pushed and slapped his girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
