Boy in Cornwall Charged With Threatening to Burn Down School APRIL 12, 2017

THREATS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on April 10th, 2017 and charged with threats and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 10th, 2017 the youth threatened to burn down his school and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jacques Trottier, 21 of Deux Montagnes, Q.C. was arrested on April 11th, 2017 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on September 13th, 2016 for drug offences and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 11th, 2017 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Carol Ann Paschek, 62 of Cornwall was arrested on April 11th, 2017 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on April 11th, 2017 the woman was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Second Street West. She was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 27th, 2017.
