Male charged with mischief in relation to an Ottawa Mosque and Islamic Centre
(Ottawa) — On April 12, 2017 police responded to a call from a male who wanted to turn himself in to police for vandalizing property at an Ottawa Mosque and Islamic Centre. Investigation confirmed that a window was broken at each location and the male was placed under arrest. During the arrest he assaulted one of the arresting officers.
The Ottawa Police Central Criminal Investigations Unit has charged 27 year old Shawn LE GUERRIER of Ottawa, with two counts of Mischief and one count of assaulting police.
