THREATS, MISCHIEF, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on May 20th, 2017 and charged with threats, mischief and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on May 20th, 2017 the man threatened his girlfriend and damaged someone’s vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kennedy Benedict, 29 of Cornwall was arrested on May 20th, 2017 and charged with breach of a conditional sentence order for having consumed alcohol and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on May 20th, 2017 police attended Alice Street for an unwanted person call and found the man in breach of his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

IMPAIRED OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

Cornwall, ON – Jonathan Seguin, 30 of Cornwall was arrested on May 21st, 2017 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged on May 21st, 2017 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a stimulant (drug) in the area of McConnell Avenue and Fifth Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 6th, 2017.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Robert Seguin, 42 of Cornwall was arrested on May 21st, 2017 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on May 4th, 2017 for an assault charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 21st, 2017 the man was located by police, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on June 20th, 2017.

Cornwall, ON – Bradley Legue, 31 of Cornwall was arrested on May 21st, 2017 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on April 6th, 2017 for breach charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 21st, 2017 the man was located by police, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on June 20th, 2017.

WARRANT, THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jessyca Coleman, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on May 21st, 2017 on the strength of a warrant and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on May 16th, 2017 the woman attended the Sears Mall and removed a quantity of shoes and purses making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. She was stopped by the Loss Prevention Officer and fled the area prior to police arrival. During the investigation it was learned a warrant was in effect for her arrest for breaching her probation. On May 21st, 2017 the woman was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 4th, 2017.

FAIL TO REMAIN AT THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT, DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

Cornwall, ON – Catina Stewart, 30 of Lunenburg was arrested on May 22nd, 2017 and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and fail to remain at the scene of an accident. It is alleged on May 21st, 2017 the woman was operating a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner and fled the scene of an accident when she collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Pitt Street and Tollgate Road. On May 22nd, 2017 the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 29th, 2017.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Stephen Martin, 53 of Cornwall was arrested on May 22nd, 2017 and charged with breach of two prohibition orders for communicating with someone under the age of sixteen. He was also charged with breach of two probation orders and an undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during the month of May, 2017 the man was seen communicating with someone under the age of sixteen despite his conditions and police were contacted to investigate. On May 22nd, 2017 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
