Bingo Hall Arrest
17-21962
A 29-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested at a Kingston Bingo Hall on a Peterborough Warrant.
On July 13 Kingston Police received information that a wanted man was at a local bingo hall. At approximately 9:15 p.m. they entered the hall and spotted him at a slot machine. He was arrested on the warrant and was initially co-operative. He was searched before being put in the back of the police car and was in possession of suspected crystal methamphetamine and heroin. The accused became hostile and aggressive and started spitting at the officers and hitting his head against the interior of the cruiser. His fit of rage continued while at Police Headquarters as he kicked over a garbage can, repeatedly punched himself in the face and hit his head on the wall. After being put in a cell, the accused began tampering with the sprinkler system. When an officer entered the cell to deal with the situation the accused spit in his face.
