(Prescott, ON.) – The Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police(OPP) attended a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian, on the 416 Highway South, near mile marker 13, in Edwardsburgh Township.
At approximately 11:15 p.m. on the 28th of August 2017, a pedestrian was on the 416 Highway when he was struck by a southbound vehicle. The male received life threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The deceased is an 18 year old male, from the town of Prescott.
The 416 highway southbound was closed between County Road 20 and the Spencerville exit and re-opened at approximately 5a.m. this morning. The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene.
