Hockey Fight in Cornwall Leads to Charges for Hogansburg NY Man 101317

ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – Noah Mitchell, 35 of Hogansburg, NY was arrested on October 12th, 2017 and charged with assault cause bodily harm. It is alleged while playing hockey on October 5th, 2017 the man punched another man in the head causing him to seek medical attention for his injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 12th, 2017 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREAK AND ENTER, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Bradley Stephenson, 24 of Cornwall was arrested on October 13th, 2017 and charged with break and enter and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged between October 11th, 2017 and October 12th, 2017 the man forced his way into a Vincent Massey Drive business and removed merchandise. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. In the early morning hours of October 13th, 2017 the man was located by police, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Christopher Berry, 35 of Monkland was arrested on October 12th, 2017 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on January 7th, 2016 the man entered a Ninth Street store and removed a winter jacket making no attempt to pay for the item as he left the store. Police were contacted and a warrant was obtained for his arrest. On October 12th, 2017 the man was spotted by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
