Update: Jayson CAYER has turned himself in to Police today
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit has laid charges in relation to a 2015 pharmacy robbery. Jayson CAYER was arrested today when he turned himself in to Police without incident.
CAYER was in court today, November 14, 2017.
Arrest warrant issued for 2015 pharmacy robbery
(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit has laid charges in relation to a 2015 pharmacy robbery and has obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect’s arrest.
On August 25, 2015, at approximately 4:30 pm, two suspects entered a pharmacy situated along the 400 block of Holland Ave. One of the suspects produced a note making a demand for narcotics. The second suspect remained at the door. When no narcotics were available, a demand was made for cash. Both suspects took efforts to conceal their identities. The suspects fled with an undisclosed quantity of cash. There were no injuries.
Jayson Cayer, age 34 of Ottawa, has been charged with the following offences:
* Robbery
* Disguise with intent
* Breach of recognizance
Efforts to locate Mr. Cayer have been unsuccessful and an arrest warrant has now been issued. Mr. Cayer is described as being 5’6″ (168 cm), 150 lbs (68 kg), blonde hair, blue eyes, fair complexion (see attached photo.)
