DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(SOUTH STORMONT,ON) – On December 4, 2017 at approximately 4:07pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation had taken place between a male and his girlfriend. The Investigation revealed that the male had damaged property at the home and was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
A 26-year-old male from South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief
– Fail To Comply with Conditions of Probation Order
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall
His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) – On December 5, 2017 at approximately 2:27am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation had taken place between a male and his girlfriend. The Investigation revealed that the male had assaulted the female.
A 31-year-old male from North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on January 9, 2018.
His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
