WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jordan Taylor, 24, of Ottawa was arrested on March 5th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on December 21st, 2017 the man failed to attend for fingerprints and a warrant was obtained for his arrest. On March 5th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on April 12th, 2018.



Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 5th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on February 23rd, 2018 the man forced his way into his ex-common-law’s residence, causing damage to the door. The man then allegedly assaulted a man known to him using a knife, causing him to seek medical attention for his injuries. It is also alleged the man threatened to harm his ex-common-law and the man known to him. Police were contacted and during an investigation a warrant was obtained for his arrest as the man had fled the scene prior to police arrival. On March 5th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identity the victims in the matter.

There were 50 calls for service in the City of Cornwall in the last 24 hours (8am the previous day to 8am the day of the release).
