Cornwall Community Police Blotter for March 8, 2018

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 7th, 2018 and charged with breach of probation for communicating with a person under the age of 16 and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 2nd, 2018 police attended a Cumberland Street address for an unrelated matter and found the man in breach of his conditions. On March 7th, 2018 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 12th, 2018. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.



WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Devin McAllister, 38, of Cornwall was arrested on March 7th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his conditional sentence order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 7th, 2018 police attended a Pitt Street address and located the man. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
