THEFT UNDER $5000
Cornwall, ON – Fowler Thompson, 32, of Lunenburg was arrested on May 2nd, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on May 2nd, 2018 the man attended a Ninth Street store and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on May 31st, 2018.
MISCHIEF UNDER $5000
Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on May 2nd, 2018 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on April 25th, 2018, the youth damaged a vehicle belonging to a person known to him and police were contacted. On May 2nd, 2018 the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
DRIVE DISQUALIFIED
Cornwall, ON – Stephane Leclair, 43, of Glen Walter was arrested on May 2nd, 2018 and charged with drive while disqualified. It is alleged during a traffic stop on May 2nd, 2018 the man was observed driving a motor vehicle despite being prohibited from doing so. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 5th, 2018.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old North Lancaster youth was arrested on May 2nd, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for attending a certain location and being within 100 metres of a certain person. It is alleged on May 2nd, 2018 the youth attended the workplace of a certain person, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. The name of the youth was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
