Meth & Marijuana Bust in Cornwall Ontario #CCPS 051618

WITNESS WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jessy Vallieres, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on May 15th, 2018 on the strength of a witness warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court as a witness and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On May 15th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED OPERATION, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Bougie, 28, of Williamstown was arrested on May 15th, 2018 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on May 15th, 2018 the man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Pitt Street and Third Street. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 22nd, 2018.



THEFT UNDER, BREACH, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Williamstown youth was arrested on May 15th, 2018 and charged with the following:

  • Theft under $5000
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Breach of recognizance (for possessing alcohol, possessing unlawful drugs, and for being outside of her residence between 9pm and 6 am)

It is alleged on May 15th, 2018 the intoxicated youth attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store and police were contacted. During the investigation the youth was taken into custody, at which time she was found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana and methamphetamine. She was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
