Perp ID’d After CFN Police Release in Cornwall Ontario #CCPS 051718

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Caitlin Cameron, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on May 16th, 2018 and charged with failing to attend for prints and failing to attend court. It is alleged the woman failed to attend for prints on April 18th, 2018 and further failed to attend court on May 1st, 2018 for assault charges and a warrant was issued for arrest. On May 16th, 2018 the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.


UNLAWFUL USE OF CREDIT CARD, TRAFFIC STOLEN CREDIT CARD, FRAUD UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Daniel Legue, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on May 16th, 2018 and charged with unlawful use of credit card, traffic stolen credit card, fraud under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged between March 24th-26th, 2018, the man attended numerous convenience stores and used a credit card that did not belong to him without permission. On May 16th, 2018 the man was located by police, was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 28th, 2018.

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE

On May 15th, 2018 the Cornwall Community Police Service published a media release requesting public assistance in identifying a man involved in an incident at a Pitt Street business on March 23rd, 2018. We would like to thank the public for their assistance, as the man has been successfully identified as a result of the media release.
