BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kaitlyn Harrington, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on June 12th, 2018 and charged with failing to attend for prints, as well as breach of recognizance for failing to report to police. It is alleged the woman failed to attend for prints on May 31st, 2018 and also failed to report to police on June 5th, 2018 despite her conditions. On June 12th, 2018 the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – A 57-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 12th, 2018. He was charged with breach of recognizance for contacting his ex-girlfriend, failing to reside at a certain address, and failing to notify police of a change of address. It is alleged on June 5th, 2018 the man contacted his ex-girlfriend through social media and police were contacted to investigate. On June 12th, 2018 the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a domestic incident and would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT, THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Sarah Bombardier, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on June 13th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on May 22nd, 2018 for a theft charge and a warrant was issued for her arrest. It is further alleged on June 3rd, 2018, the woman removed a wallet from a motor vehicle that did not belong to her and was in the company of someone she was to have no contact with as per her conditions. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the woman was located by police, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.




WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Scott Taylor, 25 of Cornwall was arrested on June 13th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on May 29th, 2018 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 13th, 2018 the man was located by police, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Jacques Periard, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on June 13th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on June 5th, 2018 for obstructing police and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 13th, 2018 a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service assumed custody of the man from OPP as they had the man in custody on the strength of Cornwall’s warrant. The warrant was executed and the man was held for a bail hearing.

THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Marc Hamilton, 50, of Ottawa was arrested on June 13th, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on May 14th, 2018 the man took money from a woman who was a casual acquaintance of his without her permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On June 13th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 17th, 2018.
