WARRANT, THEFT UNDER, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Scott Taylor, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on June 29th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on June 28th, 2018 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is further alleged on June 29th, 2018 the man attended a Second Street East business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was located by police, taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
OBSTRUCT PEACE OFFICER
Cornwall, ON – Logan Cree, 19, of Akwesasne was arrested on June 29th, 2018 and charged with obstruct peace officer. It is alleged while at the Port of Entry on June 29th, 2018, Border Service Officers were investigating an unrelated matter and the man refused to cooperate. A struggle ensued and police were contacted. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court July 26th, 2018.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Cortlon Skidders, 20, of Akwesasne was arrested on June 30th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on April 26th, 2018 the man failed to attend court for a theft charge and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 30th, 2018 the man was stopped at the Port of Entry and police were contacted. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT, BREAK AND ENTER
Cornwall, ON – Shaine Robertson, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on July 1st, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation conditions and a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is further alleged between June 15-16, 2018, the man forced his way into the residence of someone known to him and removed an electronic device without permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 1st, 2018 during a traffic stop, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 1st, 2018 and charged with 2 counts of domestic assault. It is alleged on two occasions in June, the man assaulted his girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. On July 1st, 2018 police located the man. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 1st, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for attending a certain address, being within 100 metres of his mother’s residence, and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on July 1st, 2018 the man was found to be within 100 metres of his mother’s residence, despite his conditions. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
ASSAULT, MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on July 2nd, 2018 and charged with domestic assault and mischief under $5000. It is alleged on July 2nd, 2018, the woman assaulted her boyfriend and damaged a door in his residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 24th, 2018. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
