FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS
Cornwall, ON – Martin Gauthier-Newton, 25, of Crysler was arrested on July 26th, 2018 and charged with failing to attend for prints. It is alleged the man failed to attend for prints on July 16th, 2018 and an investigation ensued. On July 26th, 2018 the man was located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 16th, 2018.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Lunenburg woman was arrested on July 26th, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance and breach of undertaking for contacting her ex-girlfriend, failing to abide by her curfew, and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on July 21st, 2018 the woman spoke to her ex-girlfriend and was away from her residence during a time outside of her curfew. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 26th, 2018 the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Emilie Martin, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on July 26th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on July 17th, 2018 for breaches and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On July 26th, 2018 the woman was located by police. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
MISCHIEF UNDER $5000
Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old and 16-year-old youth, both of Cornwall, were arrested and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on July 25th, 2018, the youths damaged a door and a vent at a building on Vincent Massey Drive. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Both youths were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Their names were not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
