WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 24th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on August 21st, 2018 for domestic-related offences and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 24th, 2018 he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.




REQUEST FOR PUBLIC ASSISTANCE – THEFT SUSPECTS

Cornwall, ON – The Cornwall Community Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a man and woman involved in a theft from a Ninth Street business on August 15th, 2018.

The female suspect is described as having short, brown hair, wearing a blue tank top and black shorts, appearing to be in her mid-to-late 20s.

The male suspect is described as wearing a black hat, black shorts and a black shirt.

Anyone with information on the two suspects pictured below is asked to contact Cst. Perreault at 613-933-5000 ext. 2799 or ext. 2404 to leave anonymous information.

There were 60 calls for service in the City of Cornwall in the last 24 hours (8 am the previous day to 8 am the day of the release).
