Brunet & Tyo Busted in Cornwall Ontario – #CCPS Police Blotter 092118

ASSAULT, THREATS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – David Brunet, 42, of Lancaster was arrested on September 20th, 2018 and charged with assault x 2, threats, and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument on September 20th, 2018, the man assaulted a 39-year-old man known to him and threatened to kill him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On September 20th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 25th, 2018.




THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Mark Tyo, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on September 20th, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on September 20th, 2018 the man attended a Second Street East store and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 18th, 2018.
