SD&G #OPP Round Up for Monday December 10, 2018

CHARGES LAID RELATING TO THEFTS

(SOUTH DUNDAS, ON) – On December 2, 2018, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a theft on County Road 2 in South Dundas Township.

Investigation indicated that culprit(s) entered a store (Canadian Tire) and removed various items.

On December 7, 2018 members of SD&G OPP and Community Street Crime Unit arrested two males in connection with the theft.

Christopher MCROBERTS (40) from North Dundas, Ontario and Randy FROATS(23) from South Dundas, Ontario were arrested and are charged with;

–             Fail to Comply with conditions of an Undertaking

–             Theft Under $5000 ( 2 counts)

Both males were held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.

THEFT

(SOUTH GLENGARRY, ON) – On December 7, 2018 at approximately 8:26am, Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of an excavator and trailer being taken from a property on South Service Road, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime in the overnight, a 2017 John Deere mini excavator and a 2009 Belmont SS1 black trailer were stolen.

BREACH OF CONDITIONS

(NORTH DUNDAS, ON) – On December 8, 2018 at approximately 9:38pm, SD&G Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a male in contravention of his previous release conditions in North Dundas Township.

Shaun TYPHAIR (37) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Fail to Comply with conditions of a recognizance

He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
