FRAUD UNDER $5000, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Jeremy Myers, 24, of Cornwall, was arrested on December 10th, 2018 and charged with the following:
• Fraud under $5000 x 4
• Possession of property obtained by crime x 4
• Breach of probation for failing to keep the peace
It is alleged on August 13th, 2018, the man attended numerous businesses in the City of Cornwall and used a stolen bank card. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On December 10th, 2018, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 15th, 2019.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Stephane Deguire, 34, of Cornwall was arrested on December 10th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on December 5th and December 7th, 2018 for weapons offences and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On December 10th, 2018, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended the Cornwall Courthouse as the man was in custody on an unrelated matter. The warrant was executed and he remained in custody pending a bail hearing.
POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Alexander Green, 28, of Cornwall, was arrested on December 11th, 2018 and charged with possession of property obtained by crime, as well as breach of probation for failing to reside at an approved address and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on December 11th, 2018, while investigating an unrelated matter, police located the man in possession of a stolen trailer and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.
