BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 45-year-old Brockville man was arrested on April 12th, 2019 and charged with breach of undertaking for contacting his girlfriend and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 12th, 2019, while investigating an unrelated matter, the man was found at his girlfriend’s residence, despite his conditions. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Chad McGregor, 23, of Brockville was arrested on April 12th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged in November, 2018, the man made threats to damage the property of a man known to him, as well as harm the man’s family, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 12th, 2019, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended Brockville as the man was in custody on the strength of Cornwall’s warrant. The warrant was executed and the man was transported to Cornwall where he was released to appear in court on May 9th, 2019.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 12th, 2019 and charged with assault. It is alleged on January 22nd, 2019, the woman struck her 11-year-old son and police were contacted to investigate. On April 12th, 2019, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 9th, 2019. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 12th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on March 17th, 2019, the man contacted his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, as well as made threats to kill her boyfriend while holding a bat. It is further alleged the man failed to attend court on March 28th, 2019 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 12th, 2019, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended the Cornwall Courthouse as the man was in custody on an unrelated matter. The warrant was executed and the man remained in custody to await a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victims in the matter.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Angel Demontigny, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on April 13th, 2019 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to reside at an approved address and for failing to report as per her conditions. It is alleged the woman breached her conditions and an investigation ensued. On April 13th, 2019, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – David Schulte, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on April 14th, 2019 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to participate in his bail program, as well as failing to report as per his conditions. It is alleged the man breached his conditions and an investigation ensued. On April 14th, 2019, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
