WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Cody Burelle, 21, of Cornwall was arrested on July 2nd, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on July 12th, 2018, the man failed to attend court for breaches and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 2nd, 2019, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. The warrant was executed and the man was held for a bail hearing.
DOMESTIC MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 2nd, 2019 and charged with mischief. It is alleged the man removed wheel fasteners from his girlfriend’s vehicle, interfering with her lawful use of property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT & THREATS
Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 2nd, 2019 and charged with domestic assault and threats. It is alleged in June the man assaulted his wife and made threats to damage her property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 2nd, 2019, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
