ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on August 28th, 2019 and charged with assault. It is alleged the youth assaulted her mother and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Michael Denneny, 39, of Cornwall was arrested on August 28th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on August 2nd, 2019, the man failed to attend court for a drug offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 28th, 2019 he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
