WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Devon Brown, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on September 25th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his recognizance by failing to reside with his surety, failing to abide by house rules and a curfew, as well as failing to notify police of a change of address. A warrant was subsequently issued for his arrest. On September 25th, 2019, the warrant was executed and the man was held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Douglas Barbe, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on September 25th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 25th, 2019, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on October 24th, 2019.
MISCHIEF UNDER $5000
Cornwall, ON – Steven Helie, 43, of Cornwall was arrested on September 25th, 2019 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged during an altercation with a man he did not know, he kicked the man’s vehicle, causing damage, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 14th, 2019.
DOMESTIC BREACHES
Cornwall, ON A 32-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on September 26th, 2019 and charged with three counts of breach of recognizance for contacting his ex-girlfriend, being within a certain distance of her, as well as being outside of his residence with alcohol in his body. It is alleged during the early morning hours on September 26th, 2019, the man had attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence after consuming alcohol, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
