SUSPICIOUS PERSON – CHARGED
(SOUTH STORMONT,ON) – On December 16 2019, at approximately 2:30 a.m, Stormont Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Headline Road, South Stormont Township.
Officers located an individual with various improvised explosive devices (suspected Molotov cocktails) within a vehicle.
SD&G OPP officers arrested a suspect and secured the area and the devices. There was no risk to public safety and no injuries.
Christian SANDHU, age 37 of Richmond Hill, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Explosives – making or possessing for unlawful purpose
The accused was held in custody (bail) and was to appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on December 16, 2019.
THREATS
(SOUTH GLENGARRY,ON) – On December 9, 2019 at approximately 12:00 p.m, Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police crime unit officers conducted an investigation into a threatening incident in South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult accused threatened an adult victim. The accused was also in contravention of previous release conditions.
On December 17, 2019 RYAN FLARO (age 42) South Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Uttering Threats
– Fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance
Editor’s Note. RYAN FLARO has now been charged in two separate occasions related to allegations of him committing crimes against TROY LALONDE (of BMO Nesbitt Burns). LINK LINK 2 The OPP would not confirm that the new charge is directly related.
The accused was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
