Cornwall Police Only Reporting Breaches & Petty Calls for February 4, 2020 #CPS

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Dussiaume, 22, of Cornwall was arrested n February 3rd, 2020 and charged with breach of release order and breach of recognizance for failing to report to police. It is alleged the man failed to report to police on February 1st, 2020, despite his conditions, and an investigation ensued. On February 3rd, 2020, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Brika Henophy, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on February 3rd, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on January 28th, 2020 for a fraud offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On February 3rd, 2020, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on March 10th, 2020.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Jerimiah Rouillard, 21, of Cornwall was arrested on February 3rd, 2020 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on January 11th, 2020, the man attended the residence of someone known to him and damaged the front door. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 3rd, 2020, police located the man and took him into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 12th, 2020.

FAIL TO APPEAR FOR PRINTS, POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING

Cornwall, ON – Shawnna Chartrand, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on February 4th, 2020 and charged with fail to attend for prints and possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone. It is alleged on January 22nd, 2020, the woman failed to attend police headquarters for prints, despite her conditions and an investigation ensued. On February 4th, 2020, police located the woman and took her into custody, at which time she was found to be in possession of a quantity of hydromorphone. She was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

SHOPLIFTING, WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Richard Kerr, 36, and Joseph Lalonde, 29, both of Cornwall, were arrested on February 4th, 2020 and charged with theft under $5000. Lalonde was also arrested on the strength of a warrant for a weapons offence. It is alleged on January 30th, 2020, multiple individuals attended a Second Street business together and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as they left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 4th, 2020, two men involved in the incident were taken into custody and charged accordingly in relation to the matter. Richard Kerr was released to appear in court on March 3rd, 2020 and Joseph Lalonde was held for a bail hearing.
