PUBLICATION OF AN INTIMATE IMAGE WITHOUT CONSENT, DOMESTIC ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, VOYEURISM

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 24th, 2020 and charged with publication of an intimate image without consent, domestic assault, mischief and voyeurism. It is alleged between December 2019 and February, the man assaulted his ex-girlfriend and damaged a door of her residence. It is further alleged the man filmed an intimate video of her without her consent, and published the video to an online website. On February 24th, 2020, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended Ottawa as the man was in custody on an unrelated matter. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 24th, 2020 and charged with two counts of breach of release order for contacting his girlfriend and being within 100 metres of her. It is alleged between February 1-2, 2020, the man had attended his girlfriend’s residence, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On February 24th, 2020, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 24th, 2020 and charged with domestic assault and break and enter. It is alleged on February 24th, the man forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s residence and assaulted her. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 24th, 2020. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Christopher Lalonde, 49, of Cornwall was arrested on February 24th, 2020 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on February 24th, the man attended a Brookdale Avenue business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 24th, 2020.
