Busy weekend Hockey fans. Saturday night that Sens won their 3rd in a row for Cory Clouston. Pittsburgh fired former Habs coach Michel Therrien who led them to the Stanley Cup finals last year.
I’m really starting to lose positive vibes for Sid “the kid” who probably should start to think about being Sid “the adult”.
Speaking of quitters and losers Mr. Kovalev gave another empty performance while being given top minutes for the Habs. When you get out played by Tom Kotsopoulos it’s time to get to the bench or better yet; another team…maybe Pittsburgh?
There really do seem to be two teams playing for the Habs. Bob Gainey has to do something soon before the reality of missing the play 0ffs in this 100th Anniversery season becomes real.
In other Sunday scores:
Philly 5-2 over the Rangers; NJ beat SJ 6-5 as the Sharks continue to skid; Washington doubled Florida on an Ovechkin hat trick; Colorado beat Detroit 6-5 in OT; Carolina shut out Buffalo 3-0; and Ilya Kovalchuk’s hat trick helped Atlanta double Anaheim 8-4.
