Art, co-owner of Strung Out Guitars in Cornwall

Art and Rhoda opened Strung-Out Guitars on October 1, 2006. Art has had a lifetime full of experience, like so many others, at the age of 14 he began to play guitar to learn Beatles songs.

Guitars01

Art is a big supporter of Cornwall’s local musicians. Art has a lot of pride in the collectable guitars that Strung-Out Guitars carries. Some of those guitars are a Gibson Lap Steel once owned by John Fogerty of CCR, a Takamine 12-string, an acoustic signed by David Bowie. Art knows his music history and has a great passion and dedication to the music industry.

Guitars02

Strung-Out Guitars is one of the newest Paul Reed Smith dealers in Eastern Ontario. A walk through the maze of guitars reveals some hard to find gems such as the ’57 Kay Swingmaster.

  1. How about ukuleles? I’ve owned a couple of guitars for about 35 years and still can’t play. I thought maybe ukulele might be easier.

  2. One of the best music stores in eastern Ontario! Lots of older high quality instruments.

  3. Maybe I should take them the banjo that I never look at or learned to play….

  4. Admin, keep the banjo and take some lessons!
A well played banjo is the best chick-magnet you’ll ever find. 🙂

  6. I would love to get in touch with Art. I bought a guitar there a long time ago. There’s a photo that should’ve been included with the guitar. But he wasn’t able to find it at the time.

Maybe he’s found it by now, lol.

    You never know.
