WARRANT EXECUTED – DRUGS SEIZED AND STOLEN PROPERTY RECOVERED
4 ARRESTED
(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) On April 13, 2018 An investigation led by the Community Street Crime Unit – was executed with the assistance of OPP Tactical Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, and SD&G OPP. The officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant on several residences in North Glengarry Township.
This resulted in the seizure of a quantity of drugs:
– Methamphetamine pills (speed)
– Hydromorphone liquid
– Marihuana
– Hydromorphone
– Cocaine
– Crystal methamphetamine
– Tara-Testosterone (steroids)
The estimated street value of drugs seized is $5000
This also resulted in the seizure of a quantity of stolen property and Canadian currency:
– Jewellery
– Signed Connor McDavid Canada jersey (Stolen March 23, 2018)
– Ford 8N tractor, 12V (normal models are 6V), grey in colour. ( Stolen November 7, 2017)
– Custom made trailer
– Over $1400 Canadian Currency cash
The following individuals were arrested and charged;
Alan ROMANIUK (22) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking (5 counts)
– Possession of property obtained by crime (3 counts)
– Possession of a controlled Substance ( 2 counts)
– Theft over $5000
– Break and Enter
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Vanessa BUSS (23) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking (5 counts)
– Possession of property obtained by crime (2 counts)
– Possession of a controlled Substance ( 2 counts)
She was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on June 6, 2018.
Martin DESJARDINS (32) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking (5 counts)
– Possession of a controlled Substance ( 2 counts)
He was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on June 6, 2018.
Anthony LUTZ (54) of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking (5 counts)
– Possession of property obtained by crime
– Possession of a controlled Substance ( 2 counts)
He was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court on June 6, 2018.
