ASSAULT
Cornwall, Ont. – A 14 year-old Chesterville youth was arrested on the 19th of February, 2010 for an Assault which occurred at a Cornwall alternative school earlier that date. It is alleged that he struck a fellow student and grabbed his hair. The student did not require medical attention at the time of the incident. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was arrested and charged for Assault and released to appear in court on the 25th of March, 2010 to answer to the charge. His name is not being released due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
BREACH OF UNDERTAKING and THEFT UNDER $5,000
Cornwall, Ont. – Paul Francis Kameka, 31, of Cornwall was arrested and charged following a shoplifting incident. He was bound by an Undertaking Order with condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that he entered a Brookdale Avenue department store and stole property. He was detained by the store’s Loss Prevention Officer until the arrival of a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was arrested for Theft Under $5,000.00 and Breach of Undertaking for Failing to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. He was released to appear in court on the 01st of April, 2010 to answer to the charges.
BREACH OF PROBATION
Cornwall, Ont. – A 16 year-old Cornwall youth was arrested and charged with breaching his Probation Order conditions. He was bound by two conditions: to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour and to Abstain from the use of alcohol or non-prescription drugs. On the 19th of February, 2010 police allege that he was under the influence of alcohol when walking with 2 other young persons on Gloucester Street. A routine check by an officer resulted in the youth’s arrest. He was charged for 2 counts of Breach of Probation and released to a relative. He is scheduled to appear in court on the 08th of April, 2010. His name is not being released due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
UTTER THREATS, OBSTRUCT POLICE, RESIST ARREST and ASSAULTING A PEACE OFFICER
Cornwall, Ont. – A 28 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 19th of February, 2010 following a domestic dispute. He was bound by a Probation Order with condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that he was engaged in an argument with his wife at which time he uttered a threat to cause bodily harm to her. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was located walking to a parked vehicle at which time he was stopped by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He provided the officer with a false name and once his identity was confirmed, resisted the arrest. It is further alleged that he struck the officer. The officer did not require medical attention at the time. He was arrested and charged with Utter Threats, Obstruct Police, Resist Arrest and Assaulting a Peace Officer. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name is not being released as it may identify the victim in this incident.
IMPAIRED OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE and OVER .80
Cornwall, Ont. – Michael David Lott, 21, of Cornwall was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation on the 20th of February, 2010. It is alleged that he operated a motor vehicle on Poirier Avenue while under the influence of alcohol when stopped by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He was arrested and transported to Police Headquarters for further testing which resulted in a further charge of Over .80. He was released to appear in court on the 01st of April, 2010.
ROBBERY, BREACH OF RECOGNIZANCE and BREACH OF PROBATION
Cornwall, Ont. – Donald Joseph St. John, 40, of Cornwall was arrested for several charges relating to a robbery which occurred on the 20th of February, 2010. He was bound by a Recognizance Order with condition to Not be away from his residence unless in the company of his surety. He was further bound by a Probation Order with condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that he was in a shopping mall parking lot when he approached a male and demanded his wallet. St-John fled the scene with the money from the wallet and was later arrested at his residence. He was charged with Robbery, 1 count of Breach of Recognizance and 1 count of Breach of Probation. He was held in custody until court the 21st of February, 2010.

Cornwall, Ont. – Chad Clifford Young, 34, of Cornwall was arrested on the 21st of February, 2010 for breaching his conditions. He was bound by an Undertaking with conditions to Abstain from the consumption of alcohol and to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. He was further bound by a Probation Order with the same conditions. It is alleged that he was under the influence of alcohol when police observed him walking on Sydney Street. He was arrested for 2 counts of Breach of Undertaking and 2 counts of Breach of Probation. He was held in custody until court the following day.
UTTER THREATS and BREACH OF PROBATION
Cornwall, Ont. – Debbie Cook, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on the 21st of February, 2010 for uttering a threat and a breach of her Probation conditions. She was bound by an Order with condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that she contacted another female by telephone and uttered a death threat.
She was arrested and charged with Utter Threats and 1 count of Breach of Probation. She was released to attend court on the 01st of April, 2010 to answer to the charges.

Cornwall, Ont. – A 17 year-old Snye Quebec male was arrested on the 21st of February, 2010 following a shoplifting incident. The youth was bound by an Undertaking with the following conditions: To keep the peace and be of Good Behaviour, Reside with a parent and to be at that person’s home 24 hours a day. It is alleged that he was detained by a Loss Prevention Officer at a Brookdale Avenue department store after shoplifting. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. The youth provided police with false identification and once his true identity was confirmed, the youth was arrested for 3 counts of Breach of Undertaking, 1 count of Obstruct Police and 1 count of Theft Under $5,000. He was held in custody until court the following day. His name is withheld due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
THEFT UNDER $5,000.00
Cornwall, Ont. – A 17 year-old Snye Quebec female was arrested on the 21st of February, 2010 following a shoplifting incident. DOMESTIC MISCHIEF
Cornwall, Ont. – A 33 year-old Cornwall female was arrested following a domestic disturbance. It is alleged that she was engaged in a verbal argument with her common-law spouse, exited their residence and threw a plate and bowl at his windshield causing damage. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was arrested for Domestic Mischief and is scheduled to appear in court on the 13th of April, 2010. Her name is not being released as it may identify the victim in this incident.
STOLEN VEHICLE
Cornwall, Ont. – The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating the theft of a grey Buick Rendez-Vous from a Tollgate Road West residence sometime between 09:30 pm on the 20th of February and the following morning at 07:30.
