ASSAULT WITH WEAPON & POSSESSION OF WEAPON DANGEROUS

 

            Cornwall, ON- Marlon Johnson, 36 of Cornwall was arrested on November 22nd, 2012. It is alleged that on November 18th, 2012 he got into an altercation with a 42-year-old at a local establishment when he struck his with a baton. The victim was transported to hospital for medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Assault with a weapon and  Possession of a weapons dangerous. He was released to appear in court on December 18th, 2012.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY

 

            Cornwall, ON- Clint Frappier, 39 of Casselman was arrested on November 21st, 2012. It is alleged that on November 21st, 2012 he was found in possession of stolen stainless steel items by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Community Patrol Division. He was charged with possession of stolen property and released to appear in court on December 18th, 2012.

 

MISCHIEF & ASSAULT

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on November 21st, 2012. It is alleged that on November 21st, 2012 she caused damaged to property and uttered threats to group home staff. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Mischief under $5000 and Utter Threats to cause Bodily Harm. She was released to an adult to appear in court on December 27th, 2012. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

 

            Cornwall, ON- Earnest Gatien, 50 of Cornwall was arrested on November 20th, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on November 19th, 2012 an order for Committal Warrant was issued. He was located and held in custody until court the following day.

 

            Cornwall, ON- Kellen Sunday, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on November 20th, 2012 under the strength of two outstanding warrants. It is alleged that on November 13th, 2012, a bench warrant was issued for failing to appear in court and a warrant in the first instance was issued for the original charge of theft under.  He was released to appear in court on December 18th, 2012.

 

ASSAULT PEACE OFFICER CAUSE BODILY HARM & BREACH

 

            Cornwall, ON- Calvin Ceasor, 24 of Cornwall was arrested on November 20th, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the conditions of keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on November 20th, 2012 while in custody, he assaulted a 65-year-old Cornwall Community Police Service Special Constable. The victim was transported to hospital for medical treatment. He was charged with Assault Peace Officer cause bodily harm and Breach of Probation Order. He was held in custody until court later that day.

 

ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM

 

            Cornwall, ON- Brigitte Gareau, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on November 20th, 2012. It is alleged that on October 28th, 2012 she assaulted a 37-year-old female stranger while at a local establishment. The victim suffered injuries. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Assault Cause Bodily Harm and released to appear in court on December 18th, 2012.

(South Stormont) – On 19Nov12, at approximately 6:00pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic incident on County Road 29 South Stormont Township.

The investigation revealed that a female was threatened by her ex-boyfriend. Further investigation revealed that the male had assaulted her on a previous occasion.

The 19yr old male (from South Stormont) was arrested and faces charges of:

– Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
– Assault

He is scheduled to appear 08Jan13 in Cornwall court.
THEFT

(North Glengarry) – On 19Nov12, at approximately 12:15pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a theft from a business on Main St. Alexandria, On.

The investigation revealed that a male attended a local business and removed several pairs of sunglasses without paying for them.

The 38yr old male (Jonathan DERUCHIE of Cornwall On) was arrested a short time later and faces charges of:

– Theft Under SHOPLIFTING x2
– Breach of Probation Order
He is scheduled to appear 09Jan13 in Alexandria court.
