CFN – Roast Bear, Moose Balls, and a bunch of different versions of Venison were on the menu at the annual Hunter’s Ball at the Lion’s Club in Bonville Ontario Saturday night!
Nearly 500 Hunters, their friends and family got to tell tall tales, compare notes and share cheer. Prizes galore were given away thanks to the many sponsors of the event.
Mayor Bryan McGillis of South Stormont Ontario even helped me interview two female hunters, sisters Darlene & Coleen.
Nearly $2,000 was raised for the Lions Club and a good time was had by all! The mayor also shared the economic impact that hunting has for the region including tourism.
And the Venison chili was amazing!
