Cornwall Community Police Seek Assistance 4 Days After Theft 092117

PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUEST

 

Cornwall, ON – The Cornwall Community Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in a theft at a local department store on August 17, 2017.

The man is described as being approximately 6’0” tall, 180 lbs, medium build, shaved/bald head and a cleft chin.

OBSTRUCT JUSTICE AND BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 53 year old Cornwall man was arrested on September 19, 2017. He is currently bound by a Recognizance Order with the relevant conditions of no contact with his ex-girlfriend and her family, and not to be within 100 metres of any place they are known to be. It is alleged that between the July 2016 and August 2017, he was in contact with them encouraging them to change their evidence in relation to a prior Domestic Assault case before the courts. Police were contacted and an investigation was conducted. The male was subsequently located and charged with 5 counts of Breach of Recognizance and 2 counts of Obstruct Justice. He was held for a Bail Hearing.
