Brownell & Lauzon Charged w Break & Enter in Cornwall Ontario 032118

ASSAULT, FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 20th, 2018 and charged with assault, forcible confinement and breach of recognizance for communicating with his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged between March 10th-16th, 2018, the man assaulted his ex-girlfriend and prevented her from leaving the residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.



WARRANT, BREAK AND ENTER, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Linzey Brownell, 23, and Scottie Brownell-Lauzon, 26, of Cornwall were arrested on March 20th, 2018 and charged with break and enter. The woman was further charged with breach of undertaking and the man with breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 20th, 2018 the man and woman entered a residence without permission and police were contacted to investigate. It was learned the man was also wanted by police for allegedly failing to report a change of address in February, 2018, despite his conditions. Both were both taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 26th, 2018.
