Not sure how many people know, but our city council wants to install water meters in every house in Cornwall.
I know the city needs money, what with building arenas that will cost each citizen in Cornwall over $600 to build and $17 per person per year to maintain, but do we really want water meters in Cornwall?
This will just not save anyone any money and home owners will bear the brunt of the cost of implementing them. We get taxed way too much as it is.
So my fellow Cornwallians. Call City Hall and tell them what they can do with their water meters. Call your local City Councilor. Call the Mayor.
