What a weird and odd way Hockey sometimes works. For some reason someone at the Montreal Canadiens head office though perenial under achiever Jacques Martin was the man to stir the Habs to victory this season.
Mr. Martin signed a multi year deal to leave Florida and jump into the Habs coaching position. I hear the faint footsteps of Andreas Dackell in the wind…..
The Habs so far have released Goal Tending Coach Roland Melanson who had been with the club since 1997. No word yet on any other coaching decisions.
Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals is tonight.
