L I N K Michael Ignatieff and Gerard Kennedy are calling the Harper government on delaying release of stimulus dollars and of playing partisan politics with the loot.
In a new report, Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff and MP Gerard Kennedy said that as of the beginning of September, only 12 percent of the $4 billion infrastructure fund was going to support construction projects. The bulk of the money is tied up in red tape, the Liberals say.
In Ontario, they say the Conservatives promised 15 per cent more dollars on average, or $13.1 million, to their own ridings.
This is why the Liberals can’t support this government, Ignatieff said this morning.
