Ontario Health Coalition – Cornwall Chapter Calls Meeting
A press conference by the Cornwall Chapter of the Ontario Health Coalition, represented by co-chairs Elaine MacDonald and Diane Morin will be held at the Cornwall Public Library Boardroon, on Tuesday, January 19 at 11 a.m.
They are concerned about the repercussions of the third party review of the funding crisis at Cornwall Community Hospital and Champlain LHINS insistence that the hospital come in on budget, which is approximately 8 million dollars away from current projections.
A Town Hall Meeting is also being planned at the Legion for February 3, 7 p.m., to which MPP Jim Brownell is to be invited, (to come ot hear community concerns) members of the hospital board, medical personnel and interested members of the community.
People will be invited to pose questions and hopefully some in attendance will have the answers.
