CORNWALL – Cornwall Collegiate and Vocational School (CCVS) is honouring one of its own, who just happens to be one of its brightest students and most well-respected educators.
Mrs. Annie Webber will place her book, History of Newington, on the Author’s Shelf in the Battista Library at CCVS in a special ceremony to mark the event on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 12:45 p.m.
Mrs. Webber is a 1927 graduate of CCVS and returned to teach at the historic Cornwall high school from 1960 to 1972.
Her book will sit alongside other works written and produced by some of CCVS’s graduates.
